Getting started
- Create your account at famipride.com with an email address and a password.
- Save your recovery code. It is shown once, right after you sign up. It is the only way to reset your password if you forget it, so keep it somewhere safe.
- Join or start a family. The first person creates the family; everyone else joins with the family invite code from the Space tab.
- Record your first memory from the Record tab. Choose Private to keep it to yourself, or Family to share it.
- Add Famipride to your Home Screen on iPhone — open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On iPhone this is required before the app can send you daily reminders.
Frequently asked questions
I forgot my password. How do I get back in?
Use the recovery code you saved when you created your account. On the sign-in screen choose Forgot password, enter your email and the recovery code, and set a new password.
If you have lost the recovery code, email us from the address you registered with and we will help you verify ownership. We will never ask you for your password.
Why do I not get the daily reminders on my iPhone?
On iPhone, push notifications are only delivered to apps added to the Home Screen. Open famipride.com in Safari, tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen, then open Famipride from the new icon and turn reminders on in the Me tab.
Note that the Home Screen app keeps its own sign-in. If you were signed in on the Safari tab, you will need to sign in once more inside the Home Screen app.
Reminders are on, but nothing arrives.
Check, in this order:
- Your phone is not in a Focus or Do Not Disturb mode that silences Famipride.
- Settings → Notifications → Famipride shows Allow Notifications.
- The reminders switch is on in the Me tab, and you opened the app from the Home Screen icon.
- Reminders are sent at 7am and 9pm in your family time zone. If you just turned them on, the first one arrives at the next of those two times.
A family member cannot join with the invite code.
Invite codes expire. Ask the person who created the family to open the Space tab and generate a fresh code. Codes are also single-family: if that person already belongs to another family, they will need a new account or to leave the current family first.
Who can see what I write?
Private items are visible only to you. Family items are visible to the members of your family. Your reflections, drafts and pause sessions are private by design and are never included in anything the family can see unless you deliberately share them.
How do I delete a memory, or my whole account?
Open the memory and delete it from there, or use Delete account in the Me tab to remove your account and the content you authored. If you would rather have us do it, email us from your registered address and we will complete the deletion for you.
Can I export my memories?
Yes. Email us and we will export your memories and notes as plain text and images. A self-service export is on the roadmap.
The app is in the wrong language or the reminders come at the wrong time.
Language and time zone follow the family settings. Ask the family creator to check them, or email us and we will adjust them for you.
Is Famipride a therapy or emergency service?
No. Famipride is a journaling and family communication tool. It is not medical care, therapy or crisis support. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away.

To report content that is illegal, harassing or otherwise against our Terms of
Service, email [email protected] with the
subject line Report. For security issues, please use the subject line
Security and give us a chance to fix the problem before disclosing it publicly.
